Ingredients

  • ½ cup honey (170g, $1.87)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (packed, (50g) $0.11)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (5g, $0.02)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (0.18 oz., $0.04)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder ($0.02)
  • ½ tsp onion powder ($0.02)
  • ¼ tsp salt ($0.04)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (freshly cracked, $0.08)
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon ($0.01)
  • 4 lb. fully cooked smoked ham (boneless and spiral cut, $15.92*)
  • ½ inch water ($0.00)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

  2. In a small saucepan, whisk together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cinnamon. Heat over medium until sugar is dissolved and glaze is slightly thickened.

  3. Place ham cut side down in a 9x13 casserole dish. Brush half the glaze over the ham.

  4. Pour ½ inch of water into the bottom of the pan around the ham**.

  5. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 18-20 minutes per pound, basting once or twice with pan juices. For a 4lb boneless smoked ham, you'll need to bake it for about 1 hour & 20 minutes total. Internal temperature should reach 140°F for pre-cooked ham***.

  6. Remove the foil for the last 20-30 minutes of baking. Brush with remaining glaze every 10 minutes to create a golden-brown, sticky crust.

  7. Let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Spoon any extra glaze over slices when serving.
